The Urram Car Club is a car hire scheme that will enable local residents to hire our new electric Skoda Enyaq. We hope that the availability of a local car hire will help reduce some of the transport issues we all face with remote and rural living. Perhaps it will help you when your car is in the garage, or reduce the need for your household to have two cars, thus saving money.
We have been working in partnership with the Sunart Community Company to turn the car club idea in to a reality, and its finally here. The car club has received start up funding from the Community Regeneration Fund, The Scottish Government and The National Lottery Improving Lives Fund. We are grateful to a small team of ‘testers’ who have helped shape the booking process and have given valuable feedback on the car and the club.
